Maintenance Engineer required for a well established manufacturer who are in a phase of ongoing growth. They are market leading within their industry and supply to major retail outlets. They are a brand associated with quality and offer an autonomous role with high earning potential.
The role would suit truly multi-skilled maintenance engineers with either a mechanical or electrical bias. You must be happy working as the sole engineer on site. Applicants will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent. Engineers transferring from a fast paced manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage.
The role is varied and will involve a mixture of both mechanical and electrical maintenance on a wide range of production machinery. You will be responsible for both reactive and pre-planned maintenance and due to ongoing investment/NPD, there will be an element of project work involved. Occasional facilities maintenance will be required. Reporting to the engineering manager, you will work alongside a small team of engineers but will currently be the sole engineer on site for your shift.
