We are currently recruiting in our Milk & Ingredients Finance controlling team for a Business Process Manager based from our Droitwich site. This role will drive the improvement and the quality of the data collection and reporting across the entire Milk & Ingredients business, as well as playing a key role in ensuring the successful system migration from Movex to SAP.
Your challenge
- Identification & Engagement of key stakeholders including senior management, IT, & end users.
- Gain understanding of business processes and how they interact with the financial systems and Senior Leadership.
- identify current limitations of reporting and insight, prepare plan to address either as part of SAP implementation or as stand alone.
- Establish Cross Functional Relationships to understand their needs and requirements are where these are not being met
- Embed within the SAP roll out process
- Ensure at all stages of the SAP delivery process that the Milk & Ingredients requirements are the prime factor in determining output.
- In conjunction with site teams, lead the set up of initial data gathering and verification to commence SAP solution constructions.
- To include budget mapping, primary operational data and allocation keys.
- Identify key processes and accountabilities across Commercial/Milk intake/Processing and logistics.
- Support and define reporting to meet agreed needs of board, site leads and functional heads.
- Identify and material processes issues / process work-rounds.
- Prioritize efforts with reference to business financial and operational risk
- Identify & optimize process improvements / Automation / Process Adherence
- Clearly identification of the future process owner.
- Train / develop / teach as required to ensure future corrected process in embedded within normal daily operations at each site.
- Monitor adoption and sign off with site leads.
- Support the Head of Controlling (BDI) in identifying and implementing changes / improvements to business processes and reporting.
- Understand the impact of change on people, strategy, systems and general business operations. and any barriers to adoption.
- Support delivery of effective solutions which provide tangible business benefits within realistic timescales.
- Support the Educating of business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
- Support common processes & elimination of waste, duplication, manual & bad practices.
- Drive compliance to usage / sharing of single Repository / One Truth Approach.
Key skills & experience
- At least 3-5 years experience in Finance
- Strong skills in finance system implementation
- In depth knowledge and ability to train and support.
- Strong business / client engaging skills.
- High level of competence with MS Office
- Excellent understanding of SAP and financial processes.
- Ability to quickly understand current processes and To-Be processes.
- Ability to present issues / solutions in a manner that doesn't bring up barriers to change or acceptance.
- Ability to see the big picture and align teams / department / functions.
- Ability to absorb large quantities of detail & volume of information.
- Analytical Mind-Set & working approach
- Ability to understand variation within process, process gaps, to eliminate confusion and define common agreement / understanding.
- Ability to simplify complex translate complicated processes into simplistic definitions that fit audience requirement.
- Able to delegate the solution rather than own it.
- Ability to Prioritize competing requirements for time
