Casual Sports Centre Assistant
up to GBP10.91 per hour
We require self-motivated individuals with the ability to work alone and deal with all customer enquiries for our busy Sports Centre.
Duties will include reception, telephone enquiries, taking bookings, using the computerised booking system, setting up / taking down equipment, carrying out gym inductions, fitness classes, gym programmes and opening / locking up the building.
Other duties will include opening/closing of our sports ground, setting up football pitches and floodlit training areas.
A first aid qualification and a gym qualification level 2 are both desirable. An interest in sport and/or sport coaching is also useful. You will be required to organise and run children's sporting birthday parties as and when required.
The hours will be at least 7.5 hours p/week with the possibility of more.
Hours will vary, either 2:30pm - 10:30pm weekdays or weekends 8:30am - 17:30pm.
