Joining us as a Recreation Assistant, you will organise, supervise and lead a range of activities and set up, maintain and dismantle equipment, monitor its use and ensure customer safety. You’ll also undertake Reception duties, deal with customer enquiries and sometimes with emergencies requiring first aid.

We’re looking for an individual who holds a Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification and who has previous experience of working within a leisure facility. You’ll need to have good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills and be able to provide assistance to the work of others when workloads require it. You’ll enjoy working with the public, be able to prioritise and organise your own workload and have good general IT skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email. A current First Aid qualification would be advantageous; however, this is not essential.
