Bright Embedded C/C++ Software Engineer with strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design now needed in Herefordshire. The ideal Embedded C/C++ Engineer will have experience in a wide range of software technologies, with strong C++/ OO design expertise using UML and C++ for both embedded and desktop environments. Suitable Embedded C/C++ Software Engineers will have experience that includes developing software to drive hardware devices, and development of desktop-based user interfaces, preferably using the Qt framework. Practical experience in Agile would be advantageous, as would experience with embedded/real-time Linux. As part of a small team, your role will involve a wide range of activities, through all aspects of the software lifecycle. The successful Embedded C/C++ Software Engineer will work closely with Principal Software Engineer, as well as Hardware and RF engineers, to both maintain existing products, and to specify and develop new products.
