Fyte are delighted to be supporting an established client in Edinburgh (also with offices in Glasgow) with the provision of interim software engineering resource as part of an exciting turnkey initiative - moving from on-prem to a native cloud environment.

?

The main focus of the software function is to develop new serverless micro-services using AWS Lambda and TypeScript / JavaScript. There will also be some refactoring of existing codebase as part of legacy platforms.

As a result, our client is looking for a contract software professional with experience of:

• ? ? ? ? ??AWS
• ? ? ? ? ??Serverless (Lambda)
• ? ? ? ? ??TypeScript - or alternative modern JScript
• ? ? ? ? ??CDK
• ? ? ? ? ??S3
• ? ? ? ? ??Cloud formation
• ? ? ? ? ?API gateway

There are also a number of desirable products and toolkits - and it would be advantageous for candidates to have worked in a semi-iterative, agile, XP or TDD environment previously.
