Outdoor Cleaning Operative
The Opportunity...
Great role working in and tending to the beautiful grounds of one of Leeds' most loved and respected organisations. You will be working within a great team of friendly people who are all committed to keeping the organisation's external spaces clean, tidy and safe.
Successful applicants will be starting on Monday September 21st and will work up until at least January with a strong possibility of the assignment being extended beyond that.
After completing 12 weeks in post the pay rate shall increase from GBP8.72ph hour up to GBP9.37ph. From that point you would also be entitled to enhanced pay for overtime hours.
The full-time working hours are 7.00-13.00, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch, 35 hours per week.
Job Role - Main Duties:
* Litter picking
* Sweeping paths and roadways
* Emptying outdoor bins
* Raking leaves
* Moving and cleaning outdoor furniture
What We're Looking For:
* Committed, reliable hard workers
* people who are happy working outdoors
* Individuals who are physically able to undertake the above duties and not opposed to being covering large areas on a day to day basis
* Outdoor cleaning experience would be advantageous
