Established an incredible 140 years ago, this is a special charity based in the heart of Cheltenham that support adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities. They run Supported living services, home care and a day centre. The charity operates in a person centred way and ensures that the people they support are at the heart of everything they do, they also support staff to develop their own careers and offer ongoing training and support.

Your new role
Your new job is to work as a Team leader in their home care division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the service runs smoothly and effectively. You will lead a busy team supporting adults with learning disabilities; Behaviours that Challenge; Autism; complex needs and older persons within the Home Care and Supported Living Services. Your strength will be in your ability to understand our service users and enable them to draw the best experience from the service. The job entails working across day, evening weekend shifts; sleep-ins shifts and our on-call rota. (Both paid in addition to your salary: On-call # GBP30.00 per night and sleeps # GBP78.48 per sleep)

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will hold an NVQ level 3 but if not would be willing to work towards one, you will need a full UK drivers licence as well. Experience within Support work at a Senior level is ideal along with significant home care experience. Having knowledge of how to support people with Learning disabilities and other complex needs is desirable as well.
