Advantage Resourcing are working with an award winning Quality Management Company is currently seeking an experienced, professional, Quality / Plant Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will preferably be experienced in the automotive industry, with a customer focused background, be a confident presenter, and comfortable liaising with clients/customers and internal team members.

The role will be based in Chichester and Bognor Regis, working at a leading UK luxury automotive manufacturer together with their Technical Logistics Center. The Quality / Plant Manager reports into the UK Operations Manager and has a number of direct reports.

The Role
Day to day, you will interact with and complete morning production scheduling meetings with two Senior managers - Manufacturing and Quality Improvement.

We are looking for a strong leader, who has exceptional people skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Therefore, you will already have and can demonstrate experience in:
* Working in an Automotive OEM or Supply Chain at a management level and can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Managing and leading a team of people in different roles, whilst being able to develop, train and motivate the team.
* Delivering exception service to the customer and exceeding their expectations. Whilst also being able to identify, develop and deliver new business within the existing Client and ensure strong client relationship at all levels.
* Ensure exceptional level of compliance to the company and customer standards whilst measuring the efficiency of the operation.
* Continually assess Operations performance measures and provide solutions to issues within defined timescales.
* Understand and support the administrative function to ensure concise and on time reporting and the processing of invoice sign offs.
* Knowledge of SAP is preferable.

The Individual
* You will be an experienced people manager from within a manufacturing environment - the ability to plan requirements and manpower then produce high quality work outputs and production volumes is essential
* Experience in dealing with customers and in a high pressure environment ideally in automotive manufacturing or similar environments
* SAP experience preferable
