Area Sales Manager- Construction Equipment
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Lancaster
Salary: GBP27,500-GBP40,000 p.a. basic + company car + uncapped commission
My client currently has a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join their business. This role will cover the north west region of the UK.
My client is one of the UK's leading distributors of a range of construction equipment, plant and vehicles.
The role
Reporting into the General Sales Manager you will hold the following responsibilities:
Manage current customer accounts to maximise profit potential
Prospect new clients to develop new business and accounts
Achieve agreed sales targets
Carry out machine demonstrations where necessary
Attend industry exhibitions and shows when required
Complete sales related documents in a timely manner e.g. service contracts, warranties etc.
Maintain the CRM system
Experience/ Skills Required
Demonstrable sales experience
Experience of selling construction plant, or capital equipment
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to hit sales targets
A Full UK Driving Licence
