Johnsons Hotel Linen is a leading laundry and linen hire company, part of the Johnson Service Group. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking Class II LGV/HGV drivers to strengthen our team and assist with the distribution of our linen from our Leeds facility.

The Company:

Due to continued expansion, and the exciting construction of a brand new GBP10M production facility in Leeds. Johnsons Hotel Linen by Afonwen, which specialises in supplying the corporate 4-star market and the budget hotel sector is seeking Class 2 LGV/HGV drivers to strengthen our team and assist with the distribution of our linen from one of our flagship sites.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a brand-new laundry facility.

The Role:

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Delivery and collection of clean and soiled linen
• Assisting with loading/unloading vehicle though where possible a trailer swap will be arranged.
• Regular communication with the Transport Manager

You may also be required to take out HGV delivery vehicles delivering clean linen and collection of soiled from our customers, duties will include : -

• Unloading of the company vehicle on your return to the depot at the end of your days' delivery round
• Collection of soiled linen lists and handing them into the service office, as required
• Recording of any delivery times/windows and securing signatures on delivery notes
• Day-to-day liaison with customers and the office
• Regular communication with the Transport Manager

The position covers a variety of shift patterns and the successful candidate will require a digital tacho card, a Class 2 driving licence and be fully CPC qualified.
