Digital Warehouse Operative - FTC

Logistics done differently.

We are currently looking for Warehouse Digital Operatives on a 6-month FTC at our new digital distribution operation for our customer Nestle - this will be a fully automated site and a stand-out technological hub for XPO Logistics - exciting stuff eh? The site is based at East Midlands Gateway - easily commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

You will not only be involved in day to day warehouse duties, including loading/unloading and packing, but will be involved in helping us observe, test and sign off our automated warehouse processes pre-our go live date. You will be working 42 hours per week, on a rotating 4 on, 4 off, days and nights rotating shift pattern.

We're looking to offer an hourly rate of GBP9.50 per hour rising to GBP10.00 per hour on successful completion of probationary period. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Key operational tasks would include unloading pallets from inbound vehicles, case picking at manual picking stations, manual decant, loading of vehicles.
• Prioritise and coordinate the assignment of tasks among all colleagues to safely and efficiently meet or exceed service targets.
• Proactively monitor product flow and interpret information to identify emerging issues and investigate causes.
• Proactively take measures to prevent incidents by adhering to all QHSE procedures and identifying and removing potential hazards safely and appropriately.

• We are ideally looking for people who have FLT Licence or experience of operating PPT, but this should not deter you from applying if you don't, as we can train you
