Cordant People are recruiting for Goods In forklift truck drivers to join a distribution company based in Bolton. If you hold a valid counterbalance licence and have previous experience working as an FLT driver specifically working on goods in, we are able to offer starts immediately.

This position would be well suited to someone who has a solid background in warehouse & logistics operations as this role will require you to manage goods in processes as well as operating the warehouse IT & stock systems. Full training on the system will be provided but previous experience is required. If you have used Gas trucks previously this would also be a bonus.

More about the job:

• GBP9.60 per hour (weekly pay)
• Pay rise after 12 weeks to GBP10.01 per hour.
• Available shifts: 2pm - 10pm (please note, these are fixed shifts and do not rotate).
• Monday to Friday working week
• Starting ASAP
• Must have flexibility with these shift times (subject to change)

Duties include: Goods In operations including system work, booking and logging stock into inventory, warehouse admin, loading and unloading work, dispatching orders, wrapping pallets, stock control, general warehouse tasks, stacking goods and supporting a team of pickers. We are looking for experienced and committed candidates and in return we are able to offer long term work with permanent opportunities available.

This role would be well suited to someone looking to settle in a long term role. You will begin temporary with a strong chance of being taken permanent depending on performance. Quarterly bonuses paid to best performers.
