Warehouse Supervisor

A forward-thinking storage, distribution and order processing business that provides a wide range of fulfilment services for a variety of national and multi-national clients throughout the UK and globally, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in the Bedford region on temporary basis.

The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm.

Responsibilities of the job function will be to ensure the smooth running of Warehouse/Production areas to produce customer orders accurately and on time and will include:

• Quality Assurance.
• SLS management (stock location system).
• Ownership of the Area of Responsibility.
• Supervision and Leadership.
• Training and Development of staff.

The successful candidate will lead QA checks as per SLA's, produce daily and weekly QA reports, perform edits and SLS adjustments, conduct necessary SLS training for staff and carry out regular SLS audits to ensure 100% compliance.

You will be effective in the delegation to the team members and performance manage the team whilst managing individual and team training plans. You will be responsible to update and maintain training matrices and maintain a clean and tidy workplace, ensuring Health and Safety processes are always adhered to.

Pay rate for this opportunity is GBP10.80 per hour (cGBP22k).

The role is initially offered on an on-going temporary basis.
