• An opportunity has arisen to join one of our clients located centrally in Bedford town centre. The role is for a Drivers mate, to assist the driver with loaded and unloading goods at various shops and pubs throughout the day.

• Chance of a?permanent?position

Hours of work and pay :?

• Shifts ?- Monday-Friday.

Start times vary each day depending on allocated route - between 5am - 6am. Finish time varying each day between 3pm - 5.30pm

• Pay ?-?GBP9.00 per hour

Recruitment Process

• Digital for speed and efficiency
• Video interviews available (Teams, Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp)

Candidate requirements:

• Previous Drivers mate experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Lifting heavy products from vehicle into customer premises.
• Calling customers before arrival to check parking, arrival time etc.
• Filling in all relevant paperwork prior to arriving with customer.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are key to the smooth running of the entire operation and so you must have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• A positive working attitude and the capability to take instruction well from team leaders and management.
