Day Shift GBP9.52 per hour

Shifts / Hours: 6:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Friday

Quest in partnership with our client based in Sutton, between Chatteris and Ely, Cambridgeshire are searching for Hamper packers / Picking, Sorting operatives / ecommerce operatives who are hardworking, ambitious, target driven, flexible and have a good eye for detail.

General information

• Day Shift GBP9.52 per hour
• Day 1 complete onsite induction test including manual handling (approx. 2 hours)
• Day 2 complete site-specific induction start work.
• PPE - safety boots and hi vis vest can / will be provided
• Extra hours available
• 2 x 20min paid breaks and 1 x 30mins unpaid break (depending on shift pattern)
• Free vend hot drinks
• Transport ideally you will have your own transport however this can be provided from the Peterborough Office

Various shift patterns are available

Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly Std 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 22:00 - 06:00 Static Std 37.5 hours per week

Other variations of shift patterns may also be offered to help business requirements.
In Seasonal Peak times shifts may change - 6-2 / 2-10 may become fixed shift patterns,
Saturday & or Sunday will become part of your weekly rota or extra day worked.

Your role may include:

• Working within the Packing Hampers section following a visual order in front of your workstation
• Staging & feeding the lines
• Order picking from a full range of products sold by the client
• Being identified for upskilled roles
• Packing orders for dispatch to stores & customers
• General warehouse & housekeeping duties

You will be required to adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards and consistently achieve performance standards.

The role involves the following physical requirements daily:

• Standing or walking long periods up to 10 hours (depending on shifts)
• Lifting and moving products up to 15kg
• Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, crouching, and/or stretching
• Pushing and pulling pallets using pump trucks
• Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
