Salary:GBP16,854 - GBP19,374 per annum (GBP8.76 to GBP10.07 per hour) plus enhancements
Hours: 37 per week, full time and part time hours considered

About the Role:
As a Support Worker / Care Assistant you will support individuals with all aspects of their day to day living needs. The support our client provides is person-centred and is driven by what their service users require. This may include but is not limited to:
- Providing personal care
- Administering medication
- Domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, helping to prepare meals etc.
- Helping the service users with their finances including budgeting
- Getting the service users back into work, education, training and community activities
- Day to day running of the service including completing weekly and monthly checks, running records, liaising with externals and providing staff handovers
Our client is looking to recruit positive and engaging Support Worker and Care Assistants to join their dedicated and well established Personalised Support Team in Worksop. There are currently three supported living services in Worksop whereby they support individuals with a range of needs including; individuals with learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, autism, challenging behaviours and dementia. Some of our clients service users are non-verbal and use a various forms of communication including Makaton, sign language and symbols. The three projects are all within a mile of each other with easy access!
Although training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable with dealing with individuals with varying needs, you must be able to confidently deal with challenging behaviour and be resilient in your approach to work. It is beneficial if you have previous experience although we are willing to train the right individuals with great personal values for these roles.
