Electro Mechanical Fitter / Repair Technician

Excellent opportunity for someone with confident Electronic faultfinding and repair skills to work for a growing manufacturer in the Harrogate area. The role would suit someone with previous knowledge in this area happy to undertake a temporary position. This is a temp to permanent opportunity. The products are often bespoke so the work is varied challenging and interesting.

The company produce specialist equipment and your role as the Electro Mechanical Fitter / Repair Technician will be to:

• Undertake both assembly and repair work of electrical, electronic and mechanical components
• Electronics assembly and soldering of components
• Repair of cable insertion systems
• Final test and quality testing

As the Electro Mechanical Fitter / Repair Technician you will:

• Hold a relevant engineering qualification in Electrical / Electronic engineering
• Have proven skills in electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering
• Be able to solder neatly and use a wide range of hand tools
• Have the ability to recognise everyday electronic and mechanical components and systems
• Be able to repair cable systems
• Be able to use basic electronic test equipment including multi-meters and continuity testers
• Be happy working in a targeted production environment
• Be able to manage your time well
