About the Role
Reporting to the Group ESH Manager and working closely with Mill Manager at the Carlisle site, you will champion an awareness and responsibility culture with our employees via the provision of hands-on support, advice and guidance on all ESH issues. This will involve monitoring site performance against targets, assisting with risk assessments and planning / developing safety managements systems, carrying out training sessions, reviews, investigations and safety audits - making recommendations and initiating change where required.
About You
Dynamic and proactive, with a passion for health and safety and the ability to spread your enthusiasm to all our employees. You'll also demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills as well as the ability to maintain and make sound, practical and timely decisions, without losing sight of the overall group objectives. Of degree calibre (ideal but not essential) and already holding a NEBOSH qualification (minimum diploma level), we'll also expect strong IT skills and a full driving license. Any experience in a similar - site role would be an advantage, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
