The role will be in placed in the DCS Manufacturing Division where we provide a one stop shop from concept to delivery. At DCS Manufacturing we fly the flag for promoting 'MADE IN ENGLAND' products. We are passionate about creating and developing exceptional and affordable products in Bath & Shower, Hair Care, Skin Care, Male Grooming and Pet Care.

To be successful in this role, operational line production experience is essential. Skilled in operating machinery in a manufacturing environment, setting up equipment to run different product lines and an intuition for problem solving will be a significant advantage. What will you be doing as our Line Setter?

The Line Setter is to ensure a finished product meets required quality standards at the required rate every time. Ensure multi-head liquid filling machines, labelling and ink jet coding machines together with associated pumps, motors and conveyors are fully operational.

Line Setter Working Hours: 14.00 - 22.00

Your responsibilities will include:

- Organise maintenance schedules and carry out repairs if any part of the production line ceases to function
- Responsible for increasing productivity and reducing waste
- Take responsibility for the safety of people using production machinery
- Maintain and repair equipment, changing components or printed circuit boards as appropriate
- Set up production lines in time for the planned jobs

What makes you our ideal Line Setter?

- Ability to interpret basic operational production drawings and manuals
- Persistence to pursue recurring problems relentlessly until a solution is found
- Must be a good team player, and work closely with others
- Communication is imperative, working with the Production Supervisor, to maximise Production output at all times

Types of Machinery:

- Filling and Packaging equipment e.g. Filling Machines, Coders, Labellers, Shrink-wraps
- Blending equipment e.g. pneumatic pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixing vessels

Health & Safety:

- To ensure all DCS policies and procedures are adhered to
- To ensure risks are communicated to the Production Supervisor and/or Health and Safety representative
- To ensure line is clean and tidy after change overs and clear of tools and equipment during production
- To ensure that all tools and equipment are placed in a safe manner and in the correct place
- Together with the Line Leader ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is worn by all staff
