Mig Welders

Our client in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for time-served MIG Welders to join them on a temporary basis for approximately 6 weeks. The role will involve heavy duty MIG welding in an engineering environment and requires a high level of accuracy and detail.

Main Duties:

Heavy duty MIG welding up to 20mm including fillet welds, butt welds and multi-runs

Reading engineering drawings and working to production deadlines

Working to job specification and quality standards

Welding main frame chassis

Preferable Experience:

Lifting and slinging

Abrasive wheels

Working at heights

Oxi-acetylene cutting

Pay Rate:

GBP9.60 - GBP11.40 per hour dependent on skills / + GBP1.50 extra per hour for night shifts

Hours of Work (Days and possibly night shifts available):

Day shifts: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 3.30pm Friday
