A rare vacancy has arisen for an experienced procurement professional to join the purchasing team.
You will have previous experience ideally within manufacturing and be confident in;
Use of SAP or similar computer packages
Stock ordering
Negotiation with suppliers
Liaison with production team to ensure supply of parts for manufacturing according to orders/plan
Creation and maintenance of spreadsheets
Provision of financial reports
Ability to make savings and cut costs where possible
Shipping/freight understanding
Technical knowledge including parts and product specification
Engineering industry experience desirable but not essential
In return a generous package includes salary negotiable on experience, ouitstanding rest areas/onsite facilities, staff entertainment, free parking/refreshments, pension and access to training.
