Class 1 HGV Drivers

We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers for our client based between in Sawley, near Long Eaton. As a class 1 HGV driver you will undertake x2 store deliveries per day with an average working day around 10 hours.

Class 1 drivers will work any 5 days per week in line with drivers hours and following a period of 12 weeks will have the option to transfer permanently. Opportunities for both days and night driver are available.

Start times for class 1 drivers are between:

• 0600 and 1000 for day drivers
• 1800 and 2200 for night drivers

Class 1 HGV Drivers will need:

• A valid Class 1 license
• A valid CPC and tacho
• No more than 6 points (No TT's, No IN's, No DD's, No DR's)
• To have held their class 1 license for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes

Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive:

• PAYE - GBP138 per day
• LTD - GBP150 per day

Class 1 HGV Drivers will go through a paid 3 day training and induction with the company and following a period of 12 weeks are able to go permanent with a yearly earning potential of GBP36,000 plus benefits.
