Trainee Vehicle Prepper

If successful, you will be joining us in our state-of-the-art vehicle refurbishment centre in Westbury. This will be a permanent position Prepping vehicles, with the opportunity to progress into different departments as you grow and develop with Smart Fleet Solutions.

Whilst working in our specialised vehicle preparation area, you will play a key role preparing vehicles to achieve a 'right first time' finish, meeting daily targets set within our refurbishment depart. With additional support from the team and our in-house technical trainer, the Vehicle Prepper role will involve:

• Sanding down panels
• Masking panels ready for paint
• Using filler to repair damaged body panels
• Priming panels ready for paint
• Ensure there are no defects on work produced
• Adhere to all requirements for hazardous or non-hazardous waste disposal
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

The hours of work for the role are Monday-Friday 07.00-17.30 (50 hours a week)

Your Development

• You will start with us as a Trainee Refurbishment Technician working in our Vehicle Prepping department
• We will continue to invest in your development to up skill over time with us and provide opportunities for progression working in partnership with our Group Technical Trainer, site mentors and Managers

Your hourly pay will increase as you improve and become more productive; your hourly rate will start at GBP8:72 an hour
