Front End Developer

I'm looking for a software developer / front end developer for a client that is rapidly changing the way in brands engage with consumers and vice versa. This role will be ideally based out of the Newcastle office for my client but we will consider anyone who is UK based and happy to work remotely.

With offices globally and a client list of hundreds of famous brands, they've cornered their market. You really will be joining this business at an exciting time.

We're looking for someone who is bright and keen to learn. The team is looking for a software engineer to work in their product team who will spend time writing code and working closely with a team of engineers and designers to build and import their product. Innovation is key.

This role will be reporting into the Technical Lead and working within the platform team.

The team uses a mixture of technologies including Elixir and Typescript as well as React but knowledge of these languages is not essential, the ability to learn is. The software is all cloud based but experience with this is not essential. A lot of the work will be bug fixes and you'll be able to spot errors in code.

You'll be a passionate developer who is able to problem solve and collaborate. You'll have experience as a developer although we're not looking for anyone who is at a senior or lead level. Those looking to take a step up will be considered but commercial experience is a must.

Any experience working with Erlang, Elixir or other OTP software would be an advantage. Familiarity with webpack or typescript would be great too.
