Web Developer

We're helping to grow the technical team for a web technology company based in Caerphilly and looking for an enthusiastic Developer with a keen eye for design and wants to learn plenty of new skills in a tight knit team!

About you???
We're ideally looking for someone with great attention to detail, a solid knowledge of CSS and JavaScript and knows what looks good! Other than that some commercial experience be it free-lance doing your own thing or working in house would be excellent.

You should be enthusiastic with a keen interest and passion for technology - This role will be primarily involved with the front end design and development of the company's new platform, so we're looking for someone who has a strong understanding of design principles as well as the ability to work and contribute in a team with deadlines.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone to develop a wide range of skills and shine in a small team. We are not looking for 100% knowledge in these areas, but you should have some experience of -
* Vue.js (any knowledge of this or similar JS frameworks would be great!)
* CSS / JavaScript
* WordPress (any knowledge of this or other CMS would be great too!)
* Working in an Agile team

What you'll be doing???
It's a pretty interesting time to join the company as they are embarking on an ambitious technology refresh programme which will eventually lead to the retirement of their core platforms and incrementally replacement by a new platform that is being built.

You'll form a core part of the Agile team for the new project and though the role will be varied, responsibilities will include -
* Work creatively with imagination, ensuring a clean, fresh look is achieved and maintained
* Implementing new features and design based on pre-approved design guidelines
* Reviewing design work from other developers
* Being responsible for the overall design of new development projects
* Assisting in frontend development using Vue.js
* In house management of the design and development of WordPress based company websites
