An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Aftermarket Sales Engineer to join a forward thinking, dynamic and growing organisation.

This role is to manage the UK aftermarket sales for all strategic business fields. You will have previous sales experience ideally within aftermarket sales and have a proven record of achieving and exceed targets. You will be travelling UK Wide and meeting clients on site - a full driving licence is essential.

Job Role

?? To participate in the strategic planning, decision making process and daily management, agree and implement the strategic business plan to meet both targets and business development goals

?? To promote by example and embrace core values, demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service

?? Meet and surpass all Customer expectations

?? Achievement of individual targets for defined clients

?? Maintain up to date market intelligence and Customer information to be able to submit detailed -timely weekly and annual order intake forecasts for the territory.

?? Regularly review current position in line with required order intake targets and ensure achievement of the approved company margins.Where forecasts cannot be met corrective actions are to be agreed with the UK Sales Manager and implemented

?? Survey existing and new Customers and provide report/recommendations with a view to maximizing spares/service opportunities

?? Regular and consistent communication with UK Sales Manager regarding customer visits and the outcome / feedback from those visits

?? Maintain the company CRM system - gather and log information across all platforms

?? Ensure that timely and accurate quotations are submitted in response to Customer requests for quotations/tenders.

?? As well as the above key objectives, you will be expected to carry out other duties and from time to time this may include an element of international travel as required.

CORE SKILLS

?? Working understanding of sales & negotiation processes - 3-5 years' experience

?? Working understanding of all Aftermarket Department processes and procedures

?? Technical background such that relevant technologies are understood at a level to be able to discuss them both internally and externally to the business

?? Excellent communication both verbal & written

?? Influencing Skills

?? Customer relationship management

?? Have the ability to manage your own work schedules, workload and timetables.

?? Excellent time management, personal management, decision making skills and IT literacy

?? Ability to observe, identify and activate all suitable enquiries

?? Good analytical and problem solving skills.

About you

You will have at least 3-5 years sales experience ideally in the aftermarket field or technical sales, which could include - mechanical/Engineering or Automotive

You must be HND qualified or the equivalent - Ideally BEng
