Job description:

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join our Market Drayton team.

Key responsibilities:

Delivery of world class engineering activities

* To ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard and optimised to deliver efficiency targets

* To ensure that all planned works are completed on time and to within the quality requirements for the task

* To work closely with CI teams and Operational teams to deliver reliable maintenance improvements

* Use appropriate tools to effectively and efficiently resolve breakdown faults, if called upon to do so

* Use appropriate tools, including root analysis, to diagnose faults and develop corrective action plans

* Identify weakness in PM plans and deliver proposals for improvement

* Work with Operators and Shift technicians to identify and implement standard equipment settings through effective trials

Key skills & experience

* Possesses knowledge in areas of: Filling and Process technology

* Knowledge of complex fast moving clean environments (24/7- short life products)

* Strong technical bias and has experience in standardising processes and practices

* Has excellent analytical, planning, organisation, problem solving and root cause analysis skills

* Excellent knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques and condition monitoring

* Good communication and team building skills and strong ability to work cross functionally

* Delivery of world class engineering activities

* Delivery of the required standards in relation to Engineering GMP, maintenance control, hygiene and tool box control

* Ensure equipment is maintained to operate safely and actively participate in safety related activities such as STAR, near miss reporting, corrective actions etc.

* Optimise spend through delivery of availability and efficient filling lines

* Energy focused to optimise delivery of annual targets

* Strong focus on Filling waste and opportunities to improve

* Delivery of line and factory efficiency targets

* Delivery of PM targets and compliance

* Delivery of corrective actions % versus plan

* BTEC level 3 (ONC)

* Relevant knowledge and experience in a similar role

* HNC / HND level
