We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Customer Safety Manager to ensure the safety of our tenants, members of the public and Connects' properties and common areas.

In the role, you'll plan and deliver programmes of periodic testing, maintenance, and improvement works necessary to ensure our housing stock meets statutory requirements and approved service standards. Leading all aspects of building compliance and assurance, you'll take responsibility for internal systems, managing service contracts and delivering 100% performance.

Utilising data systems and ensuring all records are maintained, you will ensure good financial management of allocated budgets and provide periodic reports on actual and forecast spend. Working with contractors and partner organisations for testing, servicing and remedial works, along with handling all compliance issues with external agencies and enforcing authorities, the post involves managing all areas of landlord safety and compliance for the business.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of government and industry guidance including regulations relating to maintenance, periodic inspection and servicing of Gas, Electric Asbestos, Fire, Water and Lifts.

With proven experience ensuring asset compliance in housing, and of demonstrating this through a robust assurance process, along with management of allocated budgets, you will have strong stakeholder and contract management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.

The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of Landlord's statutory repair, maintenance and H&S responsibilities, along with experience of inspiring and developing individuals to work in line with our values and achieve high standards of individual and team performance.
