Are you a skilled Building Surveyor, who's available for contract opportunities in the social housing sector?

If so, Moxie People (formerly Alliance Employment) have been approached by a thriving housing association in South East Wales to recruit for a customer-focused Building Surveyor to form part of their planned works team.

For this role, the successful Surveyor will be required too;

* Oversee all pre-work responsibilities for planned works/capital investment schemes carried out by the DLO and principal contractors

* Be able to administer programmes up to the commencement of works; including carrying out scoping surveys and drawing up the schedule of works

The successful candidate will have:

* Minimum of 1 years' experience building surveyor experience on social housing maintenance schemes (preferably planned works)

* Working knowledge of WHQS (Welsh Housing Quality Standards) or Decent Homes

This Building Surveyor role is being initially recruited for on a 3-month temporary contract, however, there is a strong possibility for further extension for somebody with the right attitude and ability to deliver results.

As well as flexible working, you'll benefit from a good hourly rate, the opportunity to work from home and support from an approachable and respected manager.

The offices are just 5-10 minutes from the M4, so are easily accessible from the Gwent, Cardiff, Bristol, South Gloucester, North Somerset, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Caerphilly regions.
