Grafton Recruitment are looking to recruit a Software Engineer for a technologically advanced engineering company. This is a new position that has been created due to business growth.
THE ROLE:
As a Software Engineer you will be required to:
* Develop both new and existing products
* Create and test prototypes
* Produce specifications and technical reports
* Adhere to safety regulations
* Attend meetings with customers and suppliers
* Keep abreast of advancements in technology and regulations
* Provide technical support to customers
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Software Engineer:
* Degree educated or equivalent in Software Engineering or Computer Science
* Working knowledge of embedded software and/or firmware development
* Embedded C/C++ or other high level languages
* Webpage/website design experience - HTML, Java Programming, HTML5 apps
* Ability to read electronic schematics
* Knowledge of IP protocols and interfaces
* Well versed with computer architecture and networking
* Unix/Linux environments and embedded Linux
* Customer centric approach
