Adore Recruitment are very pleased to be working with a forward thinking and progressive company within the petrochemical industry who are now recruiting for an experienced Commercial Office Manager to join their organisation.

The Commercial Office Manager will be reporting to the Commercial Director

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to manage a team of CSR's to ensure efficient service delivery for their UK customer portfolio.

What will this role involve?

Your team will be covering the extended supply chain process from order receipt/process, through to the timely delivery of products and/or services with all associated documentation and quality standards satisfied.

My client is looking for a manager who has a strong commercial acumen who has the ability to develop strong relationships of trust and collaboration to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and maintain customer loyalty.

* Assimilate market intelligence from customers and disseminate to the wider commercial team, to support a proactive and effective commercial function.

* Key Account Management for a defined and significant portfolio of customers. Develop strong relationships of trust and collaboration to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and maintain customer loyalty.

* Identify new business opportunities with existing customers and seek to convert to firm orders, in support of wider commercial sales operation.

* Assimilate market intelligence from customers and disseminate to the wider commercial team, to support a proactive and effective commercial function.

* Manage and maintain sales pipeline (orders and prospects) to assist in sales forecasting and development of sales strategy and approach.

* Identify new sales opportunities, threats to existing business and structural changes within market sectors.

* Develop operational and/or procedural changes within commercial function as integral to a continuous improvement program in support of ISO9001 accreditation.

* Manage use of CRM system by CSRs, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data input and efficacy of MI output.

* Develop commercial reporting function, sales forecasts, sales and quote activity and sales pipeline.

Skills Required

* Working knowledge of fuels sector or broader petrochemicals industry.

* 5+ years' experience in customer account management with a proven track record of customer retention and exceptional service delivery.

* Experience in managing a customer service function.

* Experience in developing and growing key business relationships.

* Experience in high performance management.

Working hours are Monday to Friday
