Trade Counter Operative
Beesley & Fildes Builders and Timber Merchants have been established since 1820 carrying a great history with 200 years' experience in the industry. Beesley & Fildes Ltd is a family owned company, who currently have eleven branches throughout the North West and employ approximately 250 people in a variety of roles.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced trade counter sales assistant to join our Chester team. This is a very varied role which will involve serving customers over the trade counter, dealing with telephone enquiries, assisting in stock replenishment on the shop floor, assisting with deliveries in and out of store, ordering stock and other sales related duties.
Skills and experience required:
?? Knowledge of building products
?? The drive to provide excellent customer service
?? Good communication skills
?? Excellent telephone manner
?? Ability to work effectively as part of a small but busy team
?? Ability to work under pressure
?? Able to work on own initiative
?? Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
?? Trade counter experience desired but not essential
?? Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable

?? Your standard working hours will be 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday's 8.00am to 1.00pm, although you are required to have a flexible approach to working hours when the job requires.
