POSITION: AOI OPERATOR - Night Shift
SALARY: GBP18k - GBP23k p/a (+ 30% shift allowance)
HOURS: Mon - Fri / 12am - 8am
LOCATION: HOOK, RG27 9HX

We are a specialist Contract Electronics Manufacturer, serving world-class customers in high-reliability industries by providing a complete set of electronics design and manufacturing solutions in both printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and full box-build manufacturing.
We have a longstanding and enviable history of supply excellence to the aerospace and defence sectors. This ranges from cockpit avionics through to in flight entertainment systems.
Due to continued success and growth we are looking to recruit an experienced AOI Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive and hardworking individuals to join a busy and fast-paced team.
As an AOI Operator you will be carrying out Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) activities to quality and industry standards (IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3), which will involve using written work instructions and item lists to assemble products to customer specification.
You will be testing PCB assemblies and identifying and reporting problems to your Team Leader.
For this role, you will need to possess excellent attention to detail and high concentration levels, along with excellent dexterity skills. An IPC Certification is also required as is previous experience.
Initial training will take place during the day 8am - 4pm, so you will need to be available during the day for the first 2-4 weeks.
