Great opening has become available for a fantastic client of mine who design and manufacture bespoke special purpose machinery for markets that include pharmaceutical, food & beverage, chemical and additive manufacturing.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer following my client landing a major new account from a competitor in the United States. A background in sales is also not a necessity but if your coming from a non-sales-based background, your engineering experience will be even more important.

They are based in Hampshire in the South East of England, but the beauty of this role is you can do it remotely and can oversee your own diary!

As Technical Sales Engineer you will be;
*Initial involvement in processing and progressing sales through ERM.
*Provide a professional and proactive account management style to support the distribution network.
*Maintain relationship with existing distributors and customers and seek out new opportunities in line with Sales and Marketing strategy.
*Investigating and resolving Sales enquiries, from customers and distributors.
*Visiting customer sites to evaluate requirements and report on installation parameters.
*Attend trade shows and trade functions where appropriate.
*Research, deliver and manage distribution network within the United States and surrounding territories (or other areas as business opportunities dictate).

This role comes with a chance to grow a major region within the business, the ideal candidate for the role of Technical Sales Engineer will have;

*Sales experience within special purpose machinery, automation or process equipment
*Aspiration to progress and grow within the organisation
*Knowledge of the Process and/or Engineering industry
*Proven track record in sales
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong planning and organising skills
*Ability to manage and prioritise workload
