We are proud to present this exciting new opportunity for a Electrical Installation Lecturer based in London.

This role would suit an enthusiastic lecturer with a strong electrical installation background. The candidate will act as a tutor to learners, working closely with the Head of Department and the construction team within the college, sharing knowledge/ skills and promoting participation and development.

Role Responsibilities
You will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the student journey, including student recruitment, tutorial and pastoral support, course induction, curriculum planning, teaching, learning and assessment, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, management of student records, student achievement, and all associated course and quality related administration.

You will require an academic qualification at Level 1 / Level 2, or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one) and an assessor award (TAQA). You also require experience working within an electrical installation/construction environment and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.

The Person & Qualifications
A full teaching qualification or currently working towards one
At least a Level 2 qualification within Electrical Installation
Relevant industry experience or qualifications
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
Assessing qualification desirable
