Residential Conveyancer and Legal Assistant

Our Client is a niche high street firm providing first class service in residential and commercial conveyancing. They have expanded considerably and insist on having the best people, devoting time and energy ensuring that they do. They are currently looking for like-minded individuals to join their dynamic team.

The Role

They are looking for an enthusiastic Conveyancer and two Legal Assistants to join their team to support them in processing sale and purchase transactions as directed by the partner and supported by the administration assistant. This will include handling a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold conveyancing, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, Rights To Buy, Shared Ownership Schemes and lease extensions.

Essential Criteria

- Have experience of working within a conveyancing role as a fee earner or legal assistant
- Have previous experience of working within a service driven property team
- Be competent with operating IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Be driven to deliver all tasks in a timely manner and have proven experience of working under pressure
