We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with the passion, enthusiasm and drive to support our young people in achieving their potential. You will be part of a dedicated and lively team that focuses strongly on the core areas of education, independence and inclusion.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with class teachers to provide support for young people aged 7 to 19 with complex needs, some of whom may also be on the autistic spectrum. This will be through various subjects and using different communication and engagement techniques.
Ideally you will???
- Have experience working with children and young people
- Have passion, enthusiasm and excellent communications skills
- Have high levels of self-motivation
- Be able to show patience and understanding in difficult situations
