What is the role?

We are looking for committed and compassionate individuals who will be part of the support service for our Residential premise which accommodates up to four young people and will provide childcare of the highest standard, ensuring our services are operated in compliance with the requirements of regulation and legislation.

You will work in an empowering, respectful, and empathetic way to promote healthy relationships, encourage achievements and to be a positive role model for restorative care and individual growth.

What we need from you?

?? Should have at least 2 years of experience working with young people in a residential setting or youth offending

?? An understanding of the role of Residential Support Worker

?? An understanding of GIRFEC and curriculum of excellence is desirable

?? An understanding of the principles of safeguarding and Child Protection legislation

?? The ability to form professional and positive relationships

?? Good physical health and a high level of emotional resilience

?? Experience and understanding in dealing with challenging situations

?? Commitment to the principle of continuing professional development and working towards achieving necessary qualifications

?? A valid UK driving license is an essential requirement and access to your own vehicle

?? An SVQ3 in social care and working towards or having a HNC in social care or equivalent is essential

?? Please note that this position is subject to a full PVG check
