We are recruiting for enthusiastic and dynamic Student Liaison Attendance Assistants to join the team in the College’s new and vibrant Students’ Union (SU).

Your primary role will require you to monitor attendance on behalf of curriculum areas, through analysis of live data, risk attendance reports, initiating communication channels with students and their parents/guardians if they are not engaging with their studies or absent from lessons. Therefore, good communication skills and understanding of IT systems is essential.

You will also be expected to ensure standards of behaviour are maintained within the SU whilst covering reception duties. Being an advocate of young people is therefore vital as you will be required to relate to them and maintain high professional standards in an energetic and busy environment.

We have two roles available, and the proposed working hours are:

Role 1: 9.30am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.

Role 2: 12.00pm to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

There is also a possibility that both roles could be combined, with reviewed working hours. Please indicate which role you would prefer in your supporting statement.
