Instructor/Assessor in Plumbing

Full-time | Permanent | £20,776 - £26,656 per annum

You will be required:

  • To assess competence in plumbing and heating, key and functional skills across all levels from level 1 to level 3
  • to provide support, guidance and assessment to learners on NVQ / Apprenticeship programmes; to deliver and support practical instruction and assessment to the requisite level in the required area of work
  • to manage assessment documentation in accordance with Awarding Body requirements; and manage additional documentation in accordance with the scheme.

Duties will include the assessment management of a caseload of candidates. 

The successful candidate must be able to work well as part of a team, but also be self-directed with good communications skills, and be able to embed Functional Skills and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) within their delivery.

They need to be enthusiastic, innovatively creative and committed to the continuing development of students within the Academy and college
