Job Summary

Moog are recruiting for a Deployment Engineer to join our Test Equipment Team in Tewkesbury. This is an opportunity to join an industry leading business who are both forward thinking and proactive which means we'll be looking for the same characteristics in you.

In this role you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and conducting the deployment activities to ensure delivery of complex Test Systems in line with customer requirements, budget and schedule.

You will work closely with our customers, and a team of Test Equipment technical specialists, in all aspects of all test rig commissioning encompassing Verification and Validation activities.

The successful candidate will also support the assembly of test equipment that is normally performed by technicians (or subcontracted to external vendors) and act as an interface during the assembly process to provide clarification and resolve any issues that may arise, you will also support root cause investigations into all aspects of the Test Equipment Systems and/ or components as required

Your excellent communication skills and your ability to work well and negotiate with other members of the team will ensure your success in this role.

Key Skills

• Bachelor Degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering Discipline
• Progressive experience within a relevant engineering sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Test Equipment
• Demonstrable experience of test solutions for multi-axis, closed loop, servo-hydraulic and electromechanical equipment
• Experience in one or more of the following: DOORS, Subversion and JIRA, is advantageous
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, VISO and MS Project
• A desire to develop a career in the field of Test Equipment Engineering
