The role will draw on the content expertise of multiple stakeholders from across allpay and work closely with the learning and development advisors to deliver a digital first strategy, underpinned by the principles of blended learning.
As a Digital Learning and Development Advisor, you will:
- Apply instructional design theories and practice to design and develop innovative e-learning courses in a structured and well written format.
- Work with colleagues, stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop interactive e-learning using industry standard authoring tools [i.e. adobe storyline, captivate, active presenter etc]
- use/develop relevant project management tools (e.g. project initiation document, treatment document, storyboarding templates, user testing) to support the transition to a digital first strategy
- Working alongside the L&D advisor's to identify learning needs in line with business priorities and ensuring that effective digital solutions are developed to address these priorities.
- provide face-to-face training delivery and facilitation when required
- produce comprehensive reports, collating and maintaining statistical data relating to the measurement of training outputs
About The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A high level of ICT skills relevant to the creation of high quality learning using Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud and Captivate.
- Proven experience of creating SCORM compliant e-learning content
- Knowledge of technology-enhanced learning resources i.e. audio, audio & video conferencing, animation, virtual classrooms, forums, chat rooms etc.
- Flexibility and adaptability with an ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Able to manage multiple pieces of work to tight deadlines and reporting on progress effectively.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your creative expertise.
- Comfortable working within the constraints of brand guidelines and business process, whilst having a flair for working with content in an innovative and critical way.
- Able to manage multiple projects at any given time.
- Able to clearly understand briefs and deliver creative solutions to bring them to life.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient / expert in Microsoft Office / Adobe suite or equivalent
- Ability to choose the best communication method / writing style to meet the learning requirement
- Ability to develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of technical systems and hardware both bespoke to allpay and off the shelf
- Ability to work well as part of a team and under own initiative
- Actively seeks to develop own skills and knowledge, learning from mistakes and welcoming constructive feedback
- Strong planning, organising and implementation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Brings in new ideas and offers best practice
