Senior Technical Trainer - Mission Critical Communication Products - Cambridge
The Company
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the world's foremost engineering companies. You would be working for their Grid Automation business unit and be part of a small team dedicated to developing and delivering training on their mission critical communications products and supporting technologies.. They are a leading provider of mission-critical broadband and telecommunication solutions to public authorities, oil and gas companies, railways and energy grids amongst others.
The Role
The successful candidate would be responsible for developing and delivering training to customers on my clients mission critical communications products and supporting technologies. The technologies you will need to be training people on include. :

Multiplexer range with their management software
*
Fibre-optic transport - SDH/PDH/MPLS-TP
*
Telephony - PABX/VoIP
*
Data networks - V.24, X.21, Ethernet, TCP/IP
Training will take place either from the Cambridgeshire office or from clients sites which may, occasionally, be abroad.
Responsibilities
*
Designing impactful technical training material including practice exercises, step by step instructions and diagrams.
*
Updating training material to reflect changes in technology
*
Delivering training to customers and colleagues in class sizes of up to 12.
*
Delivering virtual and online training
*
Keep up to date with changes in the technology and new product releases
*
Liaise with customers to tailor training courses to their needs
Requirements
We particularly encourage you to apply if you have knowledge/ experience of the below:

Multiplexer products

Fibre-optic transport - SDH/PDH/MPLS-TP
*
Telephony - PABX/VoIP.
*
Data networks - V.24, X.21, Ethernet, TCP/IP
*
Degree or further qualification in a relevant field (ie. Electrical/ Electronic Engineerings, Telecommunications etc.)
