Meridian Business support are recruiting for an experienced metal Polisher The role involves preparing materials for secondary fabrication processes using band saws, pillar drills, guillotines and hand tools. As a metal fabricator you will be required to carry out the following:
Reading engineering drawings and understanding tolerances stated on them
Using a range of machinery including band saws, pillar drills, guillotines and hand tools safety on (mostly) stainless steel
Palletise/store your finished product and keep track of your progress and location of all parts
Preferable skill - ability to carry out basic fabrication of frameworks and small steel and stainless steel assemblies
Suitable candidates will have experience in metal fabrication and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
