SMT Line Operator
Influx Recruitment is working with a North Lanarkshire based Electronics Company to recruit an SMT Line Operator on a permanent position after a 12-week probationary period.
The role of the SMT Line Operator is to operate the electronic component Pick and Place Auto-Assembly Equipment as well as carrying out hand soldering and a range of assembly tasks.

Key Tasks
As the SMT Line Operator, duties will include:
* Must be able to support and manufacturing of PCB (soldering to the IPC standard 610) and assemble and inspect the finished product
* Running the SMT Pick and Place Machinery
* Knowing and understand the layouts of PCB
* Can understand and interpret job pack/lists/BOM
Requirements
To be considered for the position of SMT Line Operator you must have the following:
* Worked in a factory environment.
* Familiarity with all common types of electronic components.
* Experience in operating SMT pick-and-place machinery.
* Working knowledge of the SMT flow soldering process.
* Awareness of MSL levels, material shelf-life, and RoHS compliance.
* Be trained to IPC610E.

Working Hours
37-hour working week comprising of Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm with half-hour lunch break.
