Aspire Cambridge are recruiting for a Medical Devices Account Manager on behalf of our client who is head quartered in Europe. This company is built upon a rich, traditional family history spanning over 100 years.

Our prestigious client is a full-service provider for endoscopy, supplies a future-oriented range of innovative instruments and system solutions for minimally invasive interventions.

Main purpose of the role

Achieve sales targets
To be an Ambasssador for their product portfolio range
Achieve KPIs
Prepare for new products
Development of protocols/guidelines
Develop local KOLs for all indications
Follow appropriate SOPs at all times
Main duties/responsibilities

Promote and sell product(s) by influencing customer opinion
Provide regular progress on performance, preparing customer call plans and SMART call objectives
Work to achieve business objectives and deliver results with a short /medium term operational focus by preparing and maintaining business plans.
Achieve expected levels of activity across customer groups.
Responsible for upholding the professional image of the organisation at all times.
Develop and maintain records of all customer and territory information, abiding by GDPR legislation at all times.
Measures return on investment of resourcing decisions and keeps within budget.
Monitor market trends, competitor products and customer need to identify new SMART business objectives and provide timely feedback to all relevant internal stakeholders.
Independently stays abreast of latest information and maintains a high standard on training programmes and knowledge assessments.
Design and implement a Key Account Management strategy for territory to deliver the required performance of the accounts.
Support sharing best practice across the sales team.
Provide market access expertise to ensure timely and appropriate uptake of product brands.
Maintaining a professional attitude.
Qualifications & education required

Proven sales track record in medical devices
Minimum 3 years sales experience
Ideally degree qualified Essential skills & aptitude required

Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
Display knowledge of health economic tools
Experience in launching and/or promoting endoscopy products into theatres
Strong team player both in terms of leading and being part of a team.
Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the NHS.
Flair for creativity, new ideas and solutions.
Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of internal and external personnel.
Ability to prioritise work, pay attention to detail and successfully complete tasks on time.
Fast learner - You will be able to familiarise yourself with new therapeutic areas and compounds quickly.
Able to build solid partnership with stakeholders involved in decision making process within health care for patient access.
Eye for detail. Able to do the "head down" work in addition to the other requirements. Competent in critical appraisal of data & evidence based medicine
Strong analytical skills
Possess a strong sense of responsibility, and have a good track record of working independently and meeting sales targets. ??
Flexibility, adaptability and proactive
Diplomatic and versatile, able to deal with a range of personalities to achieve objectives.
Must live within the London/M25 - no other applications may apply if outside the London/M25 area
Full UK driving licence. Start: Immediate
Location: London/M25
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Salary: GBP46,000 - GBP48,000 + commission
