A niche legal practice with multiple offices is seeking a newly qualified to 4-year PQE Litigation Solicitor from a reputable firm to join their team in Shrewsbury. The team and wider firm are experts in the field of arrears recovery, litigation services and property litigation matters.
Areas of Litigation and Property Litigation you will be dealing with include:
Ground rent arrears
Service charge arrears
Freehold Property
Commercial Debt Recovery
Commercial Rent Arrears
Private Rented Sector/Residential Rent Arrears
Nuisance Actions
Forfeiture and Possession
Breach of Lease
Lease Extensions
Lease Variation
Leasehold Enfranchisement
Licences for works/alterations
Section 20 Guidance
Tenants Right to Manage
Landlords Right to Manage
The ideal candidate will have:
A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC / or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC and PSC and admitted by SRA as a solicitor
Experience in Litigation and Property Litigation
Possess a strong legal background within litigation law
Experience of managing a busy, mixed caseload
Experience of case preparation
A following of own clients is desirable but not essential
Legal research and legal drafting experience
Business development and networking skills
Demonstrates and develops a high-quality level of technical expertise
