We are looking for two Maintenance Technicians with an electrical bias, to work for a client in County Durham producing critical PPE products for the public and NHS.
The successful applicants will be issued a 6 month contract in the maintenance team. We are looking for candidates who have a time served apprenticeship, with a proven track record of working within a manufacturing environment, as well as achieving a HNC Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification. Maintaining and continuous improvement of high-speed assembly and packaging equipment, you will have the following skills and knowledge.
Understanding and compliance of Health and Safety Regulations
Fault diagnosis
Maintenance of high speed production machinery
Conversant with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to generate ideas for improved engineering solutions
Understanding and compliance of Health and Safety Regulations
Fault diagnosis
Maintenance of high speed production machinery
Rockwell PLCs and Software
Cognex Vision systems
Servo Drive Control
Inverter Drives
Ultra Sonic Welding
Allen Bradley PLC's and drives
Pneumatic systems
Staubli robots
Injection Moulding machines
Web handling systems.
SAP would be an advantage
Must be able to work as part in a multi-functional team and experience of Continuous improvement teams. The initial shift pattern is a three shift 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, this will be changeable between other shifts on site, dependent on operational needs.
Due to these unprecedented times interviews will be via skype or zoom and last for 1 hour, with the line manager and technical leads.
Pay rate will be negotiable and overtime is available.
