Account Manager / Sales Delivery

GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum (including car allowance)

I'm working with one of our software companies on helping them find a new account manager to help with identifying new leads, increase sales and ultimately, providing a great service to new and existing clients.

Your main responsibility will be to promote and develop the company's products and services to both new and existing customers, in order to increase profits. As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you will be expected to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining long-term loyalty and identifying and capturing any opportunities to upsell.

You will need to have a consultative approach in order to understand potential client's needs and motivations behind projects in order to fully understand how you can best deliver business value. The majority of the time, you will be providing clients with their first experience of the company's delivery capability.

This role will see you travelling across the UK, Europe and even further a field due to the nature of the industry and the clients they have, so you'll need to be comfortable with travelling for at least 50% of the time in this role.

Training on the companys specific products will be provided on the job, and you'll also have the chance to get involved in some other technical areas within the business as they believe the more you understand what their products do and how they work, the better you're going to be at your job!

Other duties and responsibilities will include:

* Building good working relationships with prospects, customers, management and all internal employees and management

* Understanding the needs of your potential customers

* Presenting the product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face

* Developing and maintaining a database of prospects, qualifying leads and pipeline reports

* Acting as a contact between ourselves and our existing and potential markets

* Gathering market and customer information

* Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions

* Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers

* Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations

* Feeding future buying trends back to employers
